Welcome to Eamon Glennon Ltd
Eamon Glennon Ltd. was set-up by the present Managing Director in the early 1960’s.
The Glennon family have been involved in the timber industry for many generations. Eamon started in a small sawmill which manufactured coffins for the local market.
Because of the strategic location of Longford in the center of Ireland, he saw a need to develop a company dedicated to the supply of the funeral industry.
The company has grown over the years and now is made up of three linked but separate divisions as can be seen from below.

Trade Show 2013
Our Company recently exhibited at The Funeral Trade Show , we had on display a large range of our poroducts from standard coffins and caskets , our Italian range, urns etc.
We were also pleased to launch several new products including some new handles and indeed a new interior range ,all of which was well received.
We also ran a competition over the two days of the show . Patrick Larkin , from Larkins Funeral Directors in Edenderry , was the eventual winner.

Hand Carved Celtic Cross
We at Glennon Monumentals still supply the traditional hand carved limestone memorials . We source the limestone from our quarry supplier in Carlow and then we work on the stone to achieve our clients desired design and size of cross or boulder shaped headstone.

Laser Etching
Glennon Monumentals are excited to announce that we will soon be able to provide another service to our customers with the addition of new equipment to our factory.This will be able to inscribe real life images onto granite, which can be coloured or shaded if preferred.
